Support Aevidum
Every day schools are reaching out to Aevidum requesting information and guidance, and seeking Aevidum representatives to come to their schools. Although Aevidum has a lot of energy, our grass-roots organization does not have a lot of funding.
The statistics are staggering…
- A positive school climate directly impacts telling indicators for success such as higher student achievement, lower dropout rates, decreased incidences of violence, and increased teacher retention (National School Climate Center).
- Approximately 20% of youth struggle with depression during their teenage years (Centers for Disease Control). Suicide is the second leading cause of death for 10-24 year-olds (Centers for Disease Control).
- Approximately 50% of students age 14 and older who are living with a mental illness drop out of high school. This is the highest dropout rate of any disability group (US Department of Education).
A donation of any amount will help Aevidum and its young voices be heard.
